In the educational projects, we focus on the training of trainers as well as the advancement of women and children.

HISTORY

The Limmat Foundation was founded on the 13th of March 1972 in Zurich (Switzerland) and is the oldest umbrella foundation in Switzerland. As an independent, non-profit and internationally active foundation, it is under supervision of the federal Swiss Federal Department of Internal Affairs. The Limmat Foundation is tax-exempt and politically, religiously as well as ethnically unaffiliated.

    Characteristics: The sub-foundation is named in honour of Mr. Farri, who served as a member of the Foundation Board of the Limmat Foundation since its establishment in 1972. He played a significant role in shaping the Limmat Foundation until his passing.
